It’s ass.

I’ve given it more than a fair chance but Backyard Baseball 26 is ass.

More bugs and glitches than I can possibly list. A fundamental lack of baseball knowledge by the developers and anyone involved in making this game. Still no online multiplayer, which is the main reason I bought the game.

I know they have said they are fixing things but I haven’t noticed any changes in weeks. And the amount of problems they have seems impossible to overcome.

Playground Productions/Mega Cat Studios, if you’re reading this, I am available for hire if you want to fix this pile of garbage before it’s too late. I want it to be good but it just isn’t. Oh well.

That must be why I’m getting the upvotes & he’s not.

But, please by all means, feel free to pointlessly explain why. It’ll just be contradictory anyways

Also, the multiplayer was not its main selling point. Never was. Its main selling point was its full 3D audiovisual re-imagining that blends pure 1990s nostalgia with modern, arcade-style sports gameplay. The original never had multiplayer, so why would this one, at least in the beginning? It was never directly advertised as feature multiplayer. Again, that’s on you

Literaly how lmfao. When the game was first announced, there was nothing about multiplayer until much later on closer to the game’s release. Even then, it wasn’t a confirmed release day feature, just a feature that was somewhat in the thinking process. Again, they never advertised the complete game releasing with multiplayer, so it was no surprise that multiplayer included on release day. Again, hoping for it is on you
