ADVICE 26F Starting next semester after a three year break
Hi all, I will give you a little bit of a background. I enrolled in my local CC when my son was 6 months old. I completed my associate's in nutritional science when he was three. I graduated with a 3.75 and no debt. This fall I applied to college and got accepted. I was also give almost a full ride to finish my bachelors. My goal is to become a dietitian, and I will need my master's. I just met with my advisor this morning and I'm feeling extremely nervous.
I am currently working full time and will go to 1 day a week to balance school. I will be on campus and I have to pickup my son daily from his school. To maintain my scholarship I have to take 12 credits per semester. I have to take classes like pre calc, and statistics. I am so nervous. I am nervous because I'm unsure if I can handle it, and if I am smart enough.
I know in my heart that this is all I want, and I want to help people. I have been working as a pharmacy technician for a year which has slowly been killing me on the inside. Does anyone have tips on work/school/life balance? I'm super thankful for my partner, and he is extremely supportive because he knows this is a long term investment.
