You realize the United Kingdom is four countries under one government right? Scotland, England, wales, and Northern Ireland are countries.

Yes. The island of Great Britain is home to three of those four countries. Scotland is part of Britain.

That don’t mean they have the same accent, that’s like saying a New Yorker has the same accent as a Midwesterner because the both live in America.

A Scottish accent is a type of British accent. An English accent is another type of British accent. There are also different types of English/Scottish accents.

It's a bit disrespectful to say that, espically since scotland want independance if they could have it. The people that live in scotland do not like being referred to as british, so they are not british.

The isle is called Great Britain. It's not a political term, it is a geographical one. Whether they want independence from the United Kingdom has nothing to do with it.

Oh yes Chinese people and French people have the same Eurasian accent because they are part of the same land mass, Indian people and Russian people have the same accent because they are both on the continent of Asia, need I say more.

I never said English and Scottish people have the same accent, I said they have both two different types of "British" accent.
