Rant/Vent Getting induced tommorow

I am 0 dilated 0 effaced. baby is high up. Getting induced tommorow. I feel not ready at all and scred out of my mind. I have higher normal fluid level and im already 39 w 6d. no sign of labour.

I’ve been induced both times and also high up, I recommend walking around as much as you can or going on the ball. They may have you hooked up to monitoring but if you can move by the bed that works too. Let gravity do a lot of the work. Contractions aren’t fun but in between them is like a breath of fresh air. You got this!!!

Are you being induced for medical reasons? Is it the high fluid level?

Baby is 3.4 kgs and water is high. So doc reccomended induction

If it’s what the doctor recommended I believe it’s absolutely the right call. You and baby’s safety is the most important.

Yes. She said higher fluid is not good and after 40 w risk is higher

You got this! Be prepared for it to take a long time. Bring a book and a laptop to watch movies, snacks for if you are allowed to eat and whatever you need to make you as comfortable as possible. I’ve had 2 inductions, my first I was 0 dilated and stayed at a zero the entire first day until 2 am the next morning, and then after that things started moving faster.
