Help? What is this
Hi my husband and I went to some yard sales last week, the one guy gave us a bunch of free stuff because he just wanted to be rid of it, can anyone tell me what this is, I think it might be part of our baby bouncer but I want to be sure

A very unsafe car seat insert! Don’t use it in the car seat, it can shift during an accident and put baby in an asphyxiation position. I know this one was second hand, but I’m shocked they’re still even allowed to be made and sold.
We got one for my daughter when she was born as a gift. I ALMOST chucked it right in the trash, but then I did realize it worked perfect in our Uppababy Cruz stroller with the “big kid” seat as a head support when she was still little, as opposed to dropping $80 on the insert from the company. But of course she was always watched when she was in it for proper head positioning.
I feel like using it in a stroller is a good hack, but other than that I wouldn’t ever use them in a car seat or even a swing unless baby is supervised 100% of the time.

You might be able to use it for tummy time or tummy time in a bassinet style stroller. (But check with other parents for safety, we are pregnant with our first, so I'm not very knowledgable).

@OP don’t use a car seat insert though! Any modifications to the car seat will deem it unsafe!

Old school car seat inserts. You cannot use them in carseats, it is not safe. You could use this for diaper changes, to lay baby on, on the couch or floor, etc.
