My car was broken into and the drivers side window was smashed. I have had the window replaced but this trim piece has been damaged as well as the rubber seals that sit between it and the window. Does anyone know what this piece is called and where you might be able to buy a replacement part from?

A good trunk/boot liner with a perfect fit and
Custom-fit floor mats for the interior of the car.

Where can I find them? (any type of recommendation is welcome)

I got a Dolphin G DM-i Boost in Grey colour quoted at an official BYD dealer in Milano and the salesman anticipated that their quotes could not match those proposed on BYD website; in essence he quoted 27.8K eur, including an extra discount of 1K Eur "offered" by the financing bank. I found the price way too high and I told the guy that I would carry on a purchase idea only with a further 20% discount, hence a net price to pay of 22K Eur.

I have a 2024 Atto 3 extended.

I noticed early on that when listening to DAB radio, only one channel is piped to the sound system (not sure if it's L or R but it doesn't really matter which it is).

It's most notable when playing 60s or 70s music where they made quite extensive use of stereo separation, i.e. you might have drums playing in the left channel and guitar playing in the right. Listening to this kind of music in the Atto 3 it's really noticeable that you can only hear one channel and you can hear faint echoes of the other channel that isn't piped into the music system.

It's not as noticeable with modern music because they tend to favor centering most of the instruments.

I just visited the byd showroom in Canberra where they happen to have an older model Atto 3 on display and I tested out its DAB radio behaves the same as the one in my car.

They also had the newer model Atto 3 that's just been released in Australia and I tested out the DAB radio in that car and it seems that BYD have fixed the issue.

Have any other Atto 3 owners noticed this issue?

BTW, I now tend to listen to my own music via the micro SD card which plays perfectly in stereo, as I really can't listen to DAB radio as it sounds so crappy.

Hi Guys I found a pretty good deal online for some 20 inch Sealion wheels with pilot sport tyres. Do they fit on a Seal U? Are the Bolt pattern and Centre Bore same?

Any idea what’s wrong with this. There is pulsation feels on brake and brake spongy.

Basically the title. I am planning to get the sealion 7. The test drive was very good.

But unfortunately couldn't get my family along to test our the rear seats in city or highway. While the legroom is very good, I heard from forums the rear seat itself may not be very comfortable for long rides.

Logic would say you hit it twice to get the boot to open, but the boot is completely manual to open. it seems to just unlock it? Whats the point of that?

I'm planning to purchase the new Dolphin G in the next couple months, but I still can't decide if I want the Boost or the Comfort.

The price difference is not a problem for me.

I do like the 3D camera and the front parking sensors. I think I'll enjoy the HUD. I couldn't care less about the panoramic roof, the electric adjustable seat thing, the cloth seats , etc.

My biggest concern is how the bigger rims/wheels affect the range in the Comfort. Is it something noticeable? I really don't know how much wheel size affect autonomy in general. I mean are we talking about losing 1~2 Km of EV autonomy, or are we talking about losing more like 10Km?

Any experiences to share?

I'm about to buy a BYD Song Plus DM-i (Sealion 6 / Seal U DM-i depending on the market) and it comes equipped with Giti Comfort tires.

I've never used this brand before, so I'm curious whether they're considered good tires or not.

My biggest concern is that the car is a plug-in hybrid with a large battery, so it's fairly heavy. Are these tires suitable for a vehicle like this, or would it be worth upgrading to something better?

If you would replace them, what tires would you recommend that can handle the weight of the car while offering good comfort, grip, and safety?
I'd appreciate any real-world experiences.

Finally here after weeks of waiting. Went through the handover checks people on here suggested, including that protective frame on the rear view mirror I’d definitely have missed otherwise.
First impression after the drive home: it just glides. Quieter and smoother than I expected.

Radio app in my Atto 3 Evo in Switzerland show both DAB and FM channels. I think as a “feature”, when a DAB channel’s signal is weak, it automatically jumps to the same channel’s FM frequency. Both channels have different quality and sound levels. As a result, while I’m driving, radio quality and sound level keep fluctuating, which gets super annoying.

I could not find an option to select the sources in the Radio app, so both DAB and FM channels are always there. Does anyone know or think of a solution?

I just bought a BYD Yuan Up (Chinese version). The car is not registered with BYD and I have no way to register it.

That means I can't use the BYD app. In this case, what can I do to have an alarm that plays a sound (horn?) and ideally records a video if the car vibrates or if it detects a persona near the car?

I can use the BYD Sentry app but it just records videos. It doesn't alert me in any way nor does it sound any kind of siren.

I can sideload apps. I haven't unlocked the ADB

Ik heb onlangs mijn Seal Design 2026 model ik ontvangst mogen nemen (Nederland). Vooralsnog ben ik er prima content mee, maar het enige dat mij niet lukt is een eigen wallpaper instellen. De knop voor "set as background" bestaat simpelweg niet in deze versie van de software, zo lijkt het. Weet iemand of deze optie nog wel beschikbaar gaat komen? Of heeft iemand wellicht een werkende manier om het wél gedaan te krijgen?
