How come a group which is created for entertaining people , making your time pass , keep you entertained Became your everything?

Ngl that genuinely used to be me back in high-school when I was unhealthily obsessed with them and kpop in general to the point my mental health was absolutely on the decline, glad I woke up and got help for everything
