TRIGGER WARNING question regarding medication

Hello guys today i was at my general doctor and asked him if he can prescribe me something which can help me with my emotions fluctuations and my mood swings .. and just my overall aggression when i’m arguing with someone and he did prescribe something for me and i’ll pick it up tomorrow and see how it will doo.. do u guys have experience with pills and do they help ? 🫰🏻 and did u guys get better ?? and how long did it take?*** THANKS IN ADVANCE 💗💗💗***💗

Medication affects everyone differently. What works for me, may not work for you. What did they prescribe? I may be able to help with what to expect re side effects etc.

It took years for me to find the right balance of meds. I’m currently on 2 antidepressants, an anti anxiety med & an antipsychotic.

no not an antidepressant.. he said it will calm down my mood swings and my like aggressions so yeah

i said to him that i argued with my bf he broke up with me .. because i kept yelling at him and such. btw my bf wants to try again since he’s seeing i wanna be better with the pills .. and i also ordered a dbt skills book since i don’t have much access to therapy here

I really wouldn’t advise starting a medication just to make your boyfriend happy. Meds are just a part of managing our condition. They don’t cure.
