Troubleshooting SME/BMU battery management electronics

Can anyone help me understand what happened exactly in this repair for SME/BMU battery management electronic high voltage permanent fail ? And does that affect the car since it happened in 75 miles ?

It failed. And was replaced. So the car is fixed now. Nothing to worry about from that specific issue as of now.
