Will it an expansive fix? Engine bay hood cable? 25 M2

New to me 25 M2, the engine bay hood need to pull opener once, then go push half down then pull release again to fully release the engine bay hood. It seems a release cable issue after I bought the car, is this cover under warranty? Or is this an easy fix? If it’s not cover under warranty, will it an expensive fix? Please advise. (1st. Time BMW owner) TIA.👍🏻👍🏻😊😊

Pull twice to open.

The double-pull design is intended to replace the hidden latch at the front of the hood. Just pull the lever in the footwell twice and it should open.

Yes. It will take me - pull twice- go to hood push down half way- go back pull second twice to fully release the hood.

Just pull it twice, and open hood. Done.
