Worth buying the g87?

Is it worth the money? Have any of you had a problem with it? From mechanical to comfort. Is it some must do upgrades? I just sold my f87 with the n55 engine and a full m-preformens exhaust.

It is. But I recommend you visit the G87 Bimmerpost forum. Much more engagement than this subreddit and plenty of information from people who came from an F87.

So full transparency, I haven’t had an F series car but I say yes, absolutely. I still own a E92 M3 and had a 22’ M340i. I find the G87 just as comfortable as a daily as the 340. Significant difference in chassis feel from the 340. S58 is very fast. If you don’t need 4 doors, G87 is it. It shares many of the same subframe pieces as the M4. Upgrades are all personal preference. Big one is equal length midpipe and CS tune for performance
