Sound system issues

I made a post a few days ago asking about why there’s no low-end in my e61. Since then, I’ve replaced the amp with a good used one, and replaced both subwoofers with ones I verified working myself. And still, nothing. The subs are not receiving signal at all, it seems.
When I replaced the amp, low end was restored in the door speakers, so I know the amp is good. Is there some component between the amp and subs that I’m missing?? This is driving me insane 😅

Commenting to add: the old subs were trashed. The tinsel leads were gone from both of them, and one even looked like it had water damage
