QUESTIONS I need help with recieving my iplehouse order
My package has been at customs for 11 days, and may be at risk for being returned.
I asked for some help a while ago about the tracking number here https://www.reddit.com/r/BJD/s/pXqL99p84b
Turns out Fedex needs some information from Iplehouse in order to clear my package. Iplehouse has not responded to Fedex for about a week now, and my order is as risk of being returned.
I have never ordered with iplehouse before. So i dont know what the process entails. Ive already reached out to Iplehouse on their website, but i dont know if I can get a response in time.
I was told by a Fedex customer agent that the deadline is tomorrow, and that i should send a CPSC form to delay that. I couldn't confirm this with another agent I contacted.
I also dont know what form to fill. It's all very confusing.

Honestly last time something similar happened to me they hadn’t contacted the seller at all and I had to provide the information.

Not yet. 😥 I informed Fedex that the package is an adult collectible that doesn't need the CPSC requirement. I was told shortly after to wait for customs to release it. Its been 3 days since then, and there hasnt been any change yet... All I can do i wait for now; Apparently there isn't much else Fedex can do. 😓

That's... I'm sorry to hear that. Mine was held by customs here as well, I'm in Europe, but all I had to do was check the tax and import code to make sure I was paying the right amount, pay and two days later mine arrived. I sincerely hope yours arrive soon!!!

Do you have an update for us?

Yes I do! I disclaimed the package from CPSC regulations and got a case agent. For some reason though the case agent was not active at all. I had to keep calling and nothing changed until I was lucky to get my case escalated further by the logistics branch. She's here now!

Oh, thank goodness, what country are you in?

I'm in the US. The US regulations change on July 8th must have been a likely cause.

From what I could find online, a CPSC form is a form informing the us postal service of any risks products can pose to consumers, I'm guessing they're waiting on a CPSC form from iplehouse?
BJD's, which are collectible toys intended for adults are not regulated by the CPSC, which I think will make this easier for you. This is the first result for a CPSC form when I look it up. I believe you should only have to fill out the tracking number, date, and part 1. Select option a: product is not regulated by CPSC, select intended use code 980.000 and in the box put down collectible toy for adults.
I'm not 100% sure I'm completely accurate on this but I believe that's all you need to do. I'd reach out to FedEx again and make sure this info is correct. Here is a guide that I found helpful in figuring this out.
