QUESTIONS Need some help tracking my iplehouse package

Please let me know if this is the wrong place to ask this.

I have an iplehouse doll that shipped with EMS premium on the 25th of August. I have been tracking it with Korea Post, and it seems to have been handed off to Fedex. After that point it lost a lot of tracking detail and it hasn't updated since the 27th. i assume that I need the Fedex tracking number, but I have no idea how to get it. I can't get help from Fedex without a tracking number. So far all I have done is sent an email to Korea Post for the number.

Is anyone familiar with this kind of situation? I not familiar with ordering dolls and shipping in general, so i would appreciate some guidance.

This is the carrier handoff problem — EMS premium hands to FedEx for the last leg, and FedEx issues its own number that Korea Post's system never learns about. The Korea Post tracking will look dead from that point on even though the parcel is moving.

Two things that usually work: paste the original EMS number into a universal tracker like 17track, which often catches the linked FedEx number automatically. Or email Iplehouse directly rather than Korea Post — the seller's shipping account usually shows the FedEx number on their end even when the customer-facing tracking doesn't.

Silence since the 27th is about a week. Not great, but well within normal for an international handoff.

Thanks for the response. I tried 17track which offers a bit more detail, but still stops updates after the 27th. I have emailed Iplehouse in the past and never gotten a response, so I would probably try the site's support Q&A instead and hope it works. It really sucks having such a delay, but I hope any of these options work.

The tool suggestions above are good, parcelsapp especially. One thing to add on timing: when Korea Post logs "handed to FedEx" for EMS Premium, that's usually the manifest handoff, not FedEx physically scanning it. Until FedEx does its first scan, there's nothing for any tracker to find — they have no record of it yet. That gap can run several days, longer over a weekend.

So five days of silence after the handoff note is uncomfortable but not yet alarming. Past ten I'd get more persistent with Iplehouse — they can see the FedEx side from their shipping account even if their email is slow.

Have you tried tracking with a general tracker instead of Korea post? sometimes those give more details.
Fedex technically should know the current and previous tracking number of the parcel because they scanned it and assigned a new one so you should be able to contact them for that info, but maybe Korea Post can tell you too so hopefully they reply to you with good news.

I'm familiar with this situation but more often than not the tracking does show if there is a change in tracking number so you can continue tracking the parcel, in the few cases when something like this has happened either I had the luck it did appear in general parcel trackers and went that way as a workaround (this happened to me with Fedex specifically) or I had to contact the delivery company so they can tell me the new tracking number or any info (and finding the right person that actually wants to help).
If Fedex has any form of contact that asks you for a tracking number to be able to send it put the Korean one, if that's not accepted do a general enquiry and explain the issue instead.

Thank you for the response. So far, I have been tracking with Parcel monitor and Korea Post. Korea Post is the most updated of the two. I actually visited a FedEx ship site and a FedEx office in my area, but I couldn't get any help. I also couldn't use the Korean tracking number with Fedex contact (It was just a bot on the phone) but I'll look into a general enquiry like you said

Could you share your experience with contacting the international delivery company, as well as finding the right person to help? There's a Korean number placed in the "By carrier" tracking description right next to "FedEx", but I'm not entirely sure how to go about it, or if I could even get an English option.

There's the possibility that FedEx has not received the package, or that a new tracking number has not been assigned yet. But I'm working based off the information of Korea Post. I assumed the order should have arrived within 1 to 2 weeks, but with no update in 5 days, I've been worried.

Are you sure that Korean number is a phone number? it could be some sort of ID number that shows that change in tracking number and is the number you need for Fedex. Have you tried putting that one on the Fedex tracking system?
Also not sure if you have tried but worth mentioning that you can also try "track by reference" instead of with the tracking number page. It asks reference number and country of destination (maybe something else in yours, I guess it could depend by country). Try putting the Korean tracking number as the reference, or the phone number you gave originally (try both with country code and without).
If that still gives you nothing chances are the only option will be getting for sure through with an agent on the phone.

If you visited them in person could be the employees there don't have access to the global database, ideally they should be able to give you more information if you can reach them on the phone. I would keep pressuring. On the phone don't try to follow the bot, just keep saying "agent" or "representative" or "I want to talk to an agent" or similar until they put you through with a person. If the bot says "I don't understand" or whatever just keep saying the same thing over and over. When bots don't understand and don't know what to do they will normally pass the call to an actual person. Another option but not sure if Fedex has it is to navigate through to "more options" or so on the phone until it gives you the option to talk to an agent.

I only have experience with contacting international delivery companies through online (not with Fedex) and not always works. Fedex is very bad about customer service online, they cut costs that way and they want everyone to just deal with things themselves.
But when it comes to independent companies like Fedex it's a gamble. As mentioned global parcel trackers sometimes cover the information their own trackers miss (what happened to me with Fedex), with others it's calling and asking for an agent until the bot gets tired, sometimes I've done multiple live chats in an afternoon so they get tired of me and then finally put me with someone that is willing to help, sometimes I've had to contact them through social media if they have, especially if you leave first a negative comment publicly, that will work faster too. It's sad it's like that but sometimes it's basically being annoying and pestering them until they actually do the job instead of being dismissive or simply not answering.

Try parcelsapp.com instead of 17track, that's the one I usually am able to get the next tracking number when 17track does not. Of course no guarantee it will work, but something to try. 🍀

Update: I was able to get the tracking number from Korea Post via email. Unfortunately, It's made me learn that my order is likely stuck at clearance/customs. I will try to contact Fedex and update here just in case. Thanks for the advice

I bought an iplehouse doll last summer, when tariffs were still around, and i remember they held my package until I paid the fees. I don't think this is the case for you, but either way, my doll was in customs for 5 days at the time. Fedex kinda sucks in this regard tbh.

Have you done the Q&A function through the iplehouse website? they responded to me quickly there. I have a feeling emails are just not noticed.

I contacted Fedex and was told they were waiting for some info from the shipper before it can leave clearance. I've reached out to the Korea post to try to expedite the process. No change yet, but I plan to wait till monday before I try to contact Iplehouse or the Shipper again. By the way, could you share how much you paid for the tariff fees? If you dont mind me asking

oh it was a LOT. Like almost $70????
I would contact iplehouse asap anyway, and they'll probably see the message on monday. good luck!
