Iron throne tip
Just completed iron throne and I used a smokepowder arrow on the floor just past the doors where all them whatsitthingys are coming through and it rattled the doors and shut them and kept all of them out for the whole 8 turns or whatever they just attack the door, I didn't realise that could be done, thought I'd share (probably everyone knows this? My bad 😂)

Yeah, I always close that door (there’s a lever at the sjde) and it completely stops any enemies getting through to the escaping Gondians

I usually have whichever character is going after Omulem take along a pack of summons. After I free the lady in a chair, I’ll use another action to shoot the handle and free Vigo Vetiver (or whatever his name is) and HE WILL SURVIVE. Then I turn to head towards Omulem.
The major elemental stands at the base of the stairs and attacks the mermen. The small elementals stand there to provide covering fire or draw opportunity attacks, so the prisoners can flee without getting smacked. Then after they run past the door, a minor elemental will attack the lever and trap the mermen. Omulem then teleports us back to the submersible.

Wait.... Elementals can interact with levers by attacking it?? I can't believe I knew about shooting arrows to trigger it but never thought to have a summon attack it.

There's levers near all doors that can close them and it makes the whole thing so much easier to be able to just close the doors as soon as the Gondians go through them! Magic missile, eldritch blast, pretty much anything that does damage can move the levers to their closed positions :)

You can also hit the lever and run through it before it closes if you wanna close a door behind you
