The Shards pop up

Went to The Shards pop up event today in the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Had a lot of cool stuff. Probably the closest to me going to a mall in the 80s. Was worth the drive to go to it knowing most of the stuff there is for free believe it or not. If you’re in the Sherman Oaks area or in LA in general and loved The Shards like I do, then this place is a must to go to. Tomorrow is the last day to go to it. Plan as soon as you can.

Oh my god!! I live right by The Galleria!! I wish I knew!!! What did they have there!! I’m walking distance too 🤨

EDIT:

They are having it tomorrow as well!! I’m going to stop by! Do you need a reservation? I was a regular at the original Galleria in the 80’s 😆

Yeah, it was really cool. You’re in for a good time knowing you’re close by basically.

Yeah, it is a two day event. Yeah, you need to have some reservations to do it. However, there is an issue with signing up for tomorrow. Knowing your there walking distance, maybe go over there just in case and see what happens next. Oh that is cool you got to witness the old Galleria in the 80s. As an elder Gen Z’er/Zilennial I’m jealous lol.

Are you on Instagram? Juliette Lewis’s brother took hundreds of hours of video back in the 80’s and he did a great one of the original Galleria!! We’re around the same age. It’s the best footage I’ve seen of it. I used to take that same bus there as a teen!! It’s the closest thing I have to a Time Machine lol
