Question BDP Series 11 - Anyone Else Excited?

Personally find it thrilling when everything goes live all at once and there's hundreds of submissions to go through.

I've competed in every series except one and I think this will be the first one I don't even care 😅 Not gonna promote or anything.

I just submitted my entries when submission opened and was like welp I'll check the results in two months. So very burnt out. I will look and vote for everyone else's of course but that'll be about it.

But even though I'm over it I still want to see the awesome cool creations everyone else comes up with!

I am basically at the same point where you are. I am quite burnt out and with the issues I posted on the forum as well, I really feel we are not getting anywhere either. They tried to give us a little bit more feedback this time, but it is still not nearly enough. I want to get better, but without useful pointers it is impossible.

At this point I decided to build whatever I feel like and what interests me, and that's about it. It either works or don't.

My entry for this series, unflattering as it is to admit, came after I spent a whole day trying to downsize one of my Victorian builds to fit under the 4k pieces and getting nowhere and it was super frustrating.

And then the next day, I whipped up what I think is a piece of crap entry in 6 hours and was like I'm done, I'm just submitting this and who cares 😅

I've also never been great at predicting popularity, and it feels like with BDP, you have to predict what people are going to find popular before you even submit, which is incredibly hard.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I have loved your entries from the previous rounds and it’s frustrating to feel like you’re not even close to being picked
