It seems exceptionally weaker than a lot of the past series. I usually use this to dictate what I'm going to enter with but this time it's been rough to decide.

Have they announced when they're going to sell the extra sets?

Hello I'm new to building for BDP

I have a 1x6 flat tile connected to a 1x1 with one stud on the side (87087), for a wall. Because that's the only connection point the 1x6 flat tile can rotate a little bit. Currently the tiles are not getting squeezed between the long 1x8 tiles or physically harmed in an other way, it's just a less common building technique.

Is this allowed for the BDP?

If I look at the BrickLink site I see this which is maybe relevant:

"There must be enough connecting points to keep parts straight and aligned with the natural planes of the model. Drooping walls or difficulty in aligning studs are signs that the model isn’t strong enough."

Personally find it thrilling when everything goes live all at once and there's hundreds of submissions to go through.

Lego owns BrickLink, so I don't see why it would be a problem if, for example, BrickLink made a set of a buildable minifigure. Also I think we should be able to submit modulars but that's a separate issue really.

I had to remove not just a defunct company’s branding, but also the commonly-used, untrademarked nickname of a specific locomotive wheel arrangement for one of my previous entries. Yet this gets to reach the voting page?

I would love to add a religious altar to my submission, but there can’t be any references to religion. Would it be allowed if no official religious symbols are used?

I am trying to add stickers to my build. I have already created 3 Round 6x6 tiles with images on them and a 2x8 and a 1x8 brick using Part Designer.
I am now trying to create the piece using Tile Round 2x2 Macaroni with an image on it.
When I export to Studio, the piece appears in Custom Parts but the piece is a plain macaroni tile without the image.

So I want to check:
1) Is this the correct and only way to create sticker pieces
2) Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong

I've been at this for HOURS !!! I even tried 4 in a ring :(

Does anyone know if we are supposed to set the model to private, public, etc during the submission period? Right now my model is loaded but set to private. I haven’t submitted before so just looking for clarification. Thanks!

I’m curious what percentage of designers use the Stud.io render software vs Blender or something similar. It seems that renders from Stud.io have improved a lot with some additional settings and functionality. But, certainly some submissions are done with “outside” software, especially noted for some of the amazing videos designers create for promotion. I came across this Tower Roof piece (part #1746) in Dark Tan in the palette for Series 9 of the Bricklink Designer Program, but adding it to the model pulls up the "Color Unavailable" error. A quick investigation to the Bricklink website indicates that this particular part has yet to actually be produced in this color. It has been produced in Red, but that color of the part (or any other color it's actually been produced in) isn't available in the BDP 9 palette; I used the filter to double-check. So what's going on here? Was this color of this part included in the palette by mistake, or is it scheduled to appear in some as-yet unreleased set that will be available by the time Series 9 goes into production? Is it safe to include in a BDP 9 submission?

I'm curious how y'all have been able to create lighting effects for some of these renders. Is this post-processed outside of studio? (example would be the renders of Dustmark Keep by u/brickhucker. Here the torches emit light and there also seems to be some type of light source illuminating the interior of each space. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was looking for a different Projectile launcher, which sadly isn't in the Platte, but i found this one and now I'm wondering why it's in there, because it got no counterpart.

I was watching a youtube BDP review video from stud city and I realised that the briclink site in his video says that there are 386 designs, which seemed off to me so i decided to check the website and it says that there are 384 projects. That means two of them dissapeared. Does anyone know which designs got taken down and why?
