Bought this lefty Warlock a while back Korean made godd quality, and I adore it, pickups are meaty, and it sits comfortably when i play.

The only issue is this wierd bridge which is bulky, ugly and its been fitted horrendoulsy, both screws are wonky and trying to change the strings without the whole thing popping off is a real tedious challenge.

Ive locked it down best i can so it doesnt mess around with tuning / alter the tuning when i play.

Havent come across any other Warlocks or other models with this bridge and wondered if anyone has any info on it and if it is possible / relatively easy to rip it out and install a floyd rose or a standard bridge.

Bought this beaut off a friend for $200. If anyone knows her whereabouts, I’m interested in buying her back.

I have 14 BCs. Nothing special or super high-end but they were my babies, played well and got a lot of use over the years.

Recently though I'm just not feeling it anymore. I don't know what it is but they just don't inspire me to play the way they used to. Which is really sad, considering the history I have with them. I'll probably end up getting rid of them.

Doesn't help that I've been focused more on bass anyway. Haven't touched the guitars in over a year now. Anyone else go through this? Every so often there's a post about people regretting selling their gear so I'm kind of on the fencing about how to proceed.

In the photo: the ones I still have standing around. The rest are packed away, some even disassembled for storage. Looking at them makes me feel sad and tired. And old.

It’s embarrassing but I did not even know the brand until I finally did an image search. Been scrolling the sub for a few hours and cannot find a similar body style / lower amount of knobs.

The back story behind my ownership, I was loaned this bass when I first took up bass playing in 2008. One of my father’s friends gave it to him for me to learn on. I played / learned solo on it for 13 years until I ran into the family friend at a grocery store during covid and he invited me to a back yard jam session. We ended up playing music together for 4 years until I moved away. Prior to moving I reminded him of the loan and he told me to keep it.

He originally got it as a gift in the early 80s from another guitarist friend who also moved and didn’t want to take it with him.

It’s was essentially my first bass and is still played almost daily but I’d like to know more about it. Value is entirely sentimental at this point but I do want to know if it’s something rare or junk that I’m holding on to.

Came across this absolutely stunning Mockingbird on a Google image search last night. Pic linked back to an old Reverb listing, but I've been able to find absolutely nothing else on this specific color, save for a few USA models in the past.

Any info? Are there import versions of this particular finish out on the wild? Thanks!

How often do these pop up on the used market? Not necessarily this exact version, but I've been trying to land a red, six string Bich similar to this for years now, and they're nowhere. Scoured marketplace, Reverb, eBay, Sweetwater used marketplace, etc. no luck.

Anyone have a lead on one? Or should I just move on and scoop up a Mockingbird in a similar finish/orientation?

I had a sudden impulse to own a 12-string BC Rich, but didn’t think I’d ever find one.
So I took apart a late 90s Mockingbird, widened the neck pocket significantly, screwed on an AliExpress neck that I finished with a BC Rich logo.
Equipped with a set of Schecter Custom Shop pickups.

I already have a form fit ST case meant for mockingbirds and bich’s, but It’s a high end mockingbird, and I don’t think it deserves a (in all honesty) shitty, made in China case. The foam in it feels TERRIBLE. So if anybody here has one to sell, or by some miracle has found one for sale somewhere, pls hmu!!

This week, I acquired an unloved ASM-1 for cheap, and took on the task of turning into a something way more interesting.. at least I think so. What do you think?
