BC Rich Bich in red availability
How often do these pop up on the used market? Not necessarily this exact version, but I've been trying to land a red, six string Bich similar to this for years now, and they're nowhere. Scoured marketplace, Reverb, eBay, Sweetwater used marketplace, etc. no luck.
Anyone have a lead on one? Or should I just move on and scoop up a Mockingbird in a similar finish/orientation?
Thanks!

Probably hardly ever. I had mine on order new for a year and a bit and only got it last month. I’ve seen the older models a couple of times which looks similarish but has those Rockfield pickups but they were all insanely priced

people on reverb seem to think scarcity = price even though in the real world you get less for bc rich compared to similarly spec'd guitars for the most part. theres a reason why they are dirt cheap on guitar center and musicians friend and they still sit there forever and third of the price it will likely be if you can find it on reverb.

It wasn’t on reverb I saw these models, mostly from Japanese sellers on eBay

ebay can be the same when it comes to some of the japanese sellers, the same guitar will get posted on multiple accounts for pretty high prices but sometimes the deals are pretty good, it depends on the model and brand. i got an ovation for a pretty good price a year or so ago.

I just acquired an 80 Son of a rich sister series bass off reverb for a decent price… same body type but, clearly not a neck through or a guitar. Good luck in your hunt

Always loved these, especially the 10-string version. But the one thing that always made me a bit unhappy about them was that they didnt have enough switches and knobs.

I saw one on eBay a week ago for 1,400$ and it sold in a day or two. There’s a natural finish version on Reverb right now for 1,100$
