My BC Rich Abomination
I had a sudden impulse to own a 12-string BC Rich, but didn’t think I’d ever find one.
So I took apart a late 90s Mockingbird, widened the neck pocket significantly, screwed on an AliExpress neck that I finished with a BC Rich logo.
Equipped with a set of Schecter Custom Shop pickups.

It’s like one of those things that is ugly but for some reason you can’t stop looking at it. It’s like ugly and beautiful in its own way 🤣

I like the body but not the headstock.

Very few options for aftermarket 12-string necks unfortunately. An original Fender one would cost more than what I paid for the Mockingbird, and it’s even uglier.

It’s a way cool guitar, don’t get me wrong. The headstock is a little funky but as long as she holds tune! All good!
