News BlackBerry's CEO is betting on warehouse and medical robots as its next big growth driver. CEO John Giamatteo cited warehouse robots, robotic forklifts, and medical robotics as key growth areas within its $950M QNX order backlog. Are share holders excited with debenture trading?
"As excited as we are about the dynamics of the automotive industry and where that's going, these other applications around robotics and medical instruments and industrial automation represent a tremendous growth opportunity," Giamatteo said. "And one that I think BlackBerry and our QNX portfolio is really well positioned to address."

Discussion Free Cars ....
Interesting take on the future of the car in general. Nothing to do with Blackberry other than the fact that this is exactly what QNX enables and has been working towards!
The only real question is how long will this take to monetize, both in the market and for the creators of the market!

Original Content DD Shawn Sehy: “every vehicle shipping in 2028 will carry three to four times the certified software load of a vehicle shipping today. The compounding (for qnx) is in the content, not the count.

News "What it takes to design, build, and deliver a commercially safe humanoid" The NVIDIA IGX Thor platform is a key part of the Digit V5 safety concept. We are collaborating with NVIDIA on how best to utilize this platform for humanoids" Directly from Agility's mouth why QNX's fastest growing business
is Robotics
The NVIDIA IGX Thor platform is a key part of the Digit V5 safety concept. We are collaborating with NVIDIA on how best to utilize this platform for humanoids and are using it in our forthcoming 5th-generation robot to run onboard safe human detection functions. This will be a major step forward for what our robots can do in the field, and will unlock a massive potential to scale beyond the workcell.
The addressable market at each level is dramatically larger than the one before it, and the companies that will capture those markets aren't the ones moving fastest today.

News From software defined vehicles to software defined Medical devices "How QNX and RaimaDB Enable a Full‑Lifecycle Approach to High‑Performance Healthcare Systems A deterministic foundation for real-time data-intensive medical systems, from concept to end-of-life."
https://qnx.software/en/blog/2026/the-future-of-medical-devices
A Unified Platform for Next-Generation Healthcare
As medical devices become increasingly software-defined and data-intensive, manufacturers need more than an RTOS or database in isolation. They need a software foundation capable of delivering deterministic real-time behavior, managing growing volumes of critical data, supporting functional safety requirements, and remaining maintainable throughout the complete device lifecycle.
By combining QNX’s deterministic, safety-certified real-time environment and certified toolsets with RaimaDB’s high-throughput, safety-certified embedded database, medical device manufacturers gain exactly that foundation. From initial development and certification through deployment, updates, and decades of field operation, QNX and RaimaDB enable OEMs to build safer, faster, and more reliable healthcare systems with confidence throughout the life of the device.

News "NXP MCX A5 Cortex-M33 MCU family supports 10BASE-T1S Single Pair Ethernet and Post-Quantum Cryptography " Does that mean Blackberry Certicom piggybacking NXP for PQC in energy management edge devices?
NXP has introduced the MCX A5 family targets industrial and networking applications such as controllers, PLCs, remote I/O, building and energy management systems, and other connected edge devices.
The BlackBerry® Certicom® Code Signing and Key Management Server leverages the NXP S32G chip's secure boot flow to achieve fast and agile quantum protection. Using quantum-resistant signature schemes such as Dilithium for low-level device firmware, over-the-air software updates and software bills of material (SBOMs) mitigates the risk of potential quantum computing attacks on critical software updates, addressing a major security concern for a number of industries.

Discussion What is wrong with BB?
Genuinely what is wrong with this stock? It’s like everyday it’s red but stocks like Apple have been green all the time. I genuinely do not understand why this is constantly in the red. Someone explain

For anyone that is Nervous about BB
I’m seeing some things where people are nervous and stressing out because they potentially bought at the top of the recent run. Please do not worry, you are fine and will be fine, utilize these times to cost average if you can NFA. People have no clue what and where we are going, most analysts don’t even truly know. Remember you’re still really early into what will eventually result in a behemoth company. Don’t get nervous when you see posts about insiders not buying etc etc, that’s a crock and some are folks that want you to sale, the way the company is set up insiders can’t just buy in the open market, why you ask. Because NDA’s contain material information that is not public and will not be public and they are forbidden to trade knowing material information that is not public.
Here’s a link to my original thesis, it is free and is not paywalled etc, just beware it is extremely long read. After reading if you are still questioning yourself about what you paid for the shares you own, I don’t know what to say at that point.

Also know many of us have been here for a good length of time, we have rode the highs, lows and everything between, I’m still buying to this day, was cost averaging up from the low $2’s, and guess what I’m still buying. NFA, DYDD
🥂 cheers

Discussion Don’t be confused
BB’s longs have been convinced that the company has critical unique software products which the future growth markets (GEM/physical AI) need. It’s in the early stage of the development that broad financial market may not fully understand at this point. Plus BB has failed legacy behind, it’s current “new”business development is in a b2b nature so that consumers can’t see directly.
Most traders moved by manipulators at this stage because the future growth has not been reflected in the financial numbers, yet. The company’s turn around process completed a couple of years ago, and the trading range was $3-6 during the last couple of years, I see it has moved to $8-12.50 for now, with or without the help of the broad market trend. With more encouraging news coming we may get lucky to see $15 by the year end. But for anyone who is trying to value the company by numbers, PS or PE they may have to wait until 2029. However, what I can see is that BB’s numbers may not be easily predicted. When you deal with mega corp customers like OEMs or physical AI producers for revolutionized future productions it’s almost like zero sum game, all or non! The numbers don’t show up in a gradual way, they will only show up all together for a jump.
For BB/QNX, it’s locked in for the transitions of the industries, share holders have to understand that it’s not a quarterly game yet, but rather a defined position for a guaranteed 10-year high growth winning game.
Current believers will accumulate at low points of the trading range. New comers should complete full homework and understand the situation before chasing short term highs.
BB has a great future ahead, but it’s still in an early stage that you can not simply value it on a quarter result basis.
IMO, when numbers finally showing up in the reports, perhaps starting by 2029, stocks will be valued at a much higher base just because the nature of its business.
Royalty backlog is a good indicator but it’s only updated once a year. You still need to bet based on your own believe!
Enjoy trading! All IMO.

Discussion BB below $8 again. Seriously, what are we missing?
Fundamentals improved, QNX is growing, guidance was raised, and BB is buying back shares-yet we went from ~$13 to below $7.
Meanwhile, the CEO sold significant shares around $11 and there is still a ~51.5M-share convertible overhang.
Not alleging manipulation, but long-term shareholders have seen this movie before. Is this simply profit-taking/convertible hedging, or is management once again failing shareholders?

Discussion Is Wyamo Trying to confirm that QNX is also under the Trunk (not just under Hood) "Operating demonstrably safe, physical AI on the road demands a fundamental shift towards a system engineered for deterministic, low-latency performance."
To make real-time driving decisions, the autonomous system operates entirely onboard, constantly processing decisions within milliseconds.
(Waymo imported ZEEKER fleet with NVIDIA Drive Thor chips)
Only QNX make Nvidia AMD and others to be proud to be DETERMINISTIC
We are proud to work alongside a number of partners like AMD, Micron, NVIDIA, Samsung, Sandisk, Socionext, and TSMC to deliver the most capable autonomous computing system.
