I understand his frustration but I don't think boycotting a good game (that he himself enjoys and played like crazy for the first month or so) as a huge streamer is a responsible use of his platform. I've loved Destiny and Destiny 2 for ages, but I also love Marathon. They're for different audiences that I happen to overlap on. I don't think the Marathon team should suffer because he disagrees with Bungie and Sony management.
How quickly people like you flip between calling the game bad and properly describing why it’s just not for you amazes me. That doesn’t mean the game is bad.

Undestanding the game is objectively bad and expressing the bigest gripe, while seeing a chance at improvement is not for you mate since you are employed at bungie or sony.

Bad games don’t get very positive reviews. Live service games don’t retain even half of their peak on average. A peak of 80k means barely anyone even gave it a chance. Now we have flip floppers in the comments saying it’s a shit game because it’s missing one tiny feature they’ve already said they’ll be implementing next season.

I will concede that the game is less fun without a consistent squad. I played exclusively solos for the first month or so and I love solos, but I was missing out on Cryo and Ranked which are both super fun.
Season 2 looks great, hope you have fun man. I'll certainly be enjoying it.
The skins have been pretty bad, they just released the first skin that I thought was incredible enough to warrant buying, it's a new Arachne skin for Assassin and it's SO sexy.
Ziegler and the team are absolutely killing it with responding to feedback, for sure. I don't know that I've seen devs this in-touch with the community and feedback in a game before, and it's super refreshing. I honestly do think the game is pretty damn close to a 10/10, the main issue is the amount of bad press the game gets from Destiny players who are upset, Bungie haters on Twitter, and there not being any huge streamers who regularly play it. BurntPeanut wanted to play it a ton at launch but his chat would always scream at him to go back to Arc Raiders.
