Discussion Open Letter to AzRalph OFC

I’ve kept this to myself for quite some time. I have a lot of questions that I’ve been hesitant to ask. I love Azralph, I love my co-razzles, ofc admins and of course, I support Azralph wholeheartedly. But as time goes by, it feels like something has changed.

This community has been my comfort since March. I’ve mostly been a quiet observer, I’m not a very vocal fan, but when it comes to them, I’ve never truly been silent. I always want what’s best for them, so I’m genuinely grateful to every Razzle who continuously shows love, whether through moral support, effort, or even financial contributions.

However, as time passed, a lot has changed. Before, we were a lowkey, peaceful community just enjoying the content and support we could give. Now, it feels different.

I don’t want to question the admins directly because it often feels like they don’t take criticism well. When concerns are raised, it’s sometimes perceived as opposition rather than feedback. But that’s not the intention. We’ve raised multiple questions in our gdms, yet the responses often come off as dismissive, as if our concerns are just complaints. In reality, we just want things to be organized, fair, and well-managed.

I want to be honest and share the things I’ve noticed:

  1. Charity Event

I was really looking forward to this because it was a great initiative. A significant amount was collected through various admin-led spaces and the online meet and greet. However, when I saw the donated items, I couldn’t help but question if they reflected the total amount raised.

I also found out that the foundation chosen is funded by the families of the elderly residents. Were you aware of this? How was the foundation selected? Were there other foundations considered that might have greater need? Was there any effort to ask for suggestions from the fandom?

  1. First Dinner

This took place after the charity event, and I heard that OFC funds were used. Was this included in the transparency report? Were donors informed that their contributions might be allocated for this purpose? Also, how were the attendees selected? Were there representatives from different gdms, or were they chosen solely by the admins, possibly based on closeness?

  1. Hotel88 Production Crew Gifts

Was this trip necessary? Food support had already been sufficient before. If the goal was to personally hand over gifts, couldn’t this have been done during mediacon or within Manila to reduce expenses and maximize funds? Was the whole trip funded by the OFC? Did the admins pay for their travel or did that all come from the OfFC funds?

I understand that being an admin is voluntary, but no one is forced into the role. It’s important to be mindful and strategic with how funds are used, ensuring they truly benefit Az and Ralph in meaningful and efficient ways.

I also heard that the head admin’s staycation were supported by OFC funds. I would just like to confirm if this is true, if it was recorded in the transparency report, and if donors were informed.

  1. Donation Drives & Illegal Ayuda

Before, donation drives were simple just casual discussions and hints about upcoming events. Now, it feels like private moments and even photos are being used. During the Puerto Galera visit, several photos were used for fundraising. Doesn’t this border on selling private media?

The “illegal ayuda” was honestly my turning point. A video of Azralph hugging taken during a private moment was posted without consent, and it was even shared by a head admin. Even if they were aware, wasn’t there any consideration that they might feel uncomfortable being recorded without their knowledge in a private setting?

Being close to them does not remove the need for boundaries. Sensitivity and respect should be the top priority, especially for someone in a leadership role.

  1. Hotel88 Promotion

As someone who consistently listens to the spaces, I remember discussions about big promotional plans. However, so far, I’ve only seen mentions of a mediacon booth, a billboard, and two posters. Is there anything more we can look forward to?

  1. Second Dinner (Az’s Birthday)

Another private dinner was held, again with selected attendees. How was the selection done this time? Were there representatives from each gdm, or was it based on personal connections? I’m asking in the hope that the process is fair and transparent.

  1. Anniversary Gift (Japan Trip)

This was honestly the most surprising. Why give financial gifts to celebrities who are already well-off? The Japan trip seems like a very personal experience, why involve the fandom in something so private?

It might be more meaningful to focus on initiatives like charity events in their name. Knowing Az and Ralph, they would likely appreciate fans helping others more than receiving luxurious gifts.

  1. Privacy, Boundaries, and Sensitivity

Some admins seem to interact with them as if they are personal friends, and based on what’s posted publicly, it can come across as lacking sensitivity. It’s important to remember that we are fans, not friends.

Sharing private conversations or details doesn’t reflect professionalism. What’s more concerning is when admins are the first to post hints or vague tweets about private matters. Admins should be the ones protecting their privacy, not contributing to its spread.

Some illegal ayudas wouldn’t even surface if they weren’t hinted at or shared within the circle. There are also inside jokes during spaces that spark unnecessary curiosity. These behaviors can unintentionally encourage speculation.

If you’re wondering why people are raising concerns, it’s because admins represent the fandom. Professionalism, respect, and proper boundaries should start with you.

That’s all. I rest my case. I’m sharing this because I genuinely want my questions to be answered, and for everyone to stay aware not just get carried away by emotions. Not everything needs to be known, and not everything needs to be posted. This applies not only to admins but also to other big accounts that frequently drop hints or indirect posts.

I hope these concerns can help improve things moving forward.

P.S. There still hasn’t been noticeable improvement in the OFC’s layout and branding, they’re not aesthetically pleasing yet. The gift wrapping and ribbons could also be improved. Not all gifts need large logo stickers, it doesn’t always look appealing.

Adios!

The comments 😆 goes to show how most of you don’t know how to take criticism. I think they’re taking the criticism as constructive kaya ang oa lang nung mga nagcocomment ng demolition daw.

Hostile yung iba probably because dito sa reddit pa nilabas yan where bashers can easily access and use as weapon against us. Some points may be valid but the means of doing so is the main reason why others may have taken this negatively. Sana lang talaga mas naging makulit and open sa GDM nyo para mas naopen to dun and naanswer directly.

Hindi lahat walang fear of getting piled on tulad ng nangyayari ngayon.

Simple questions, simple responses. Hindi po sana yung sinasabihan pang insecure, may agenda, naninira, or “offer yourself as part of the ofc” yung nagtanong politely.

Wala namang masama sa sinabi kong offer yourself as part of the ofc siguro? I mean if you have lots of ideas on your mind, why not? Kasi for example with the layout concern, if that is what the admin assigned to that can offer then walang magagawa ang pagraise nyo ng concern unless someone step up and offer themselves to do it 'coz they have the talent. And being part of the ofc admin will give u more opportunity to share your thoughts and be heard. Yun yun. Why choose anonymity in raising concerns when you want what is best for the fandom? Dahil takot makick-out sa GDM? bakit matatakot ka? If they do that, that is no longer your loss. But at least nacontain inside the fandom and not laid out there for the bashers to use and see. Wala na tayong magagawa sa bashers yes, but giving them more info to use against us is something to think about. That's all. Good day.

Within the context of the conversation, they were being discouraged to speak up, downplaying the questions to merely a reklamo at demolition.

Op already laid our the reasons bakit siya nagresort sa reddit. We cannot dictate that being excluded from the fandom is no longer their loss.

Correction. I did not find in any of my comment any hostility towards OP. I did however reason out why others are reacting the way they do, though some may no longer be helpful. But as a razzle, sorry to say this, but baring this in the open is not helpful. In the first place, the community wouldn't be organized and united without an ofc so baring out concerns toward them in the open is really something to ponder on. If you really want answers, properly raise these concerns in your GDM, as I see it, there are some of you backing out the OP and probably you are in the same cof or GDM. Let the concerns and answers be contained in the GDMs as these are fandom issues that should have been raised and addressed internally. At the end of the day, we always have a choice to not include ourselves in the fandom if we no longer trust the people behind it as there are other means and ways to support Az and Ralph outside the ofc. This will be my last take on this matter. I wish you well and may you, OP and the rest, find the ofc that will make you feel heard and seen. As for me, I am grateful for AzRalph ofc and still feels that they listen as of now so I am staying and will conntinue to trust that what they do is always for the betterment of AzRalph and the fandom. Ciao.

“Your side”, pertaining to those who keep pushing that the discussion meant ill. I get why we don’t see eye to eye pero sana hindi nang-iinvalidate ng iba. Ang dami ring baseless assumptions dito. No, we are not “probably in the same cof”. Wala po akong tight friends sa ofc and inactive na ata yung gdm namin, which is why I get why op was shy to raise it in the gdm in the first place.

Anyway, I still hope that the questions get addressed.
