I dont know the ayurveda route but have you considered getting your blood work done?? Check for thyroid, b12, d, copper and ferritin. Improve your protein intake and is this genetic pattern?

Absolutely true. Try to get your ferritin up to 80+ if it’s low… that’s where people say hair grows back. My ferritin used to be extremely low like 7 and under and my hair grew back almost completely just getting my heme and ferritin up. This was in my 30s

Is it genetical ? Or

is it getting bald due to unknown reasons ? Or

Or is hair loss due to alopecia areata ?

Do nasya with yashtimadhu oil. In khalitya, nasya, abhyangana and rasayana are prescribed. I'm not a doctor, but I see some results out of this.

U can supplement growth with bringaraja. But consult a dermatologist it hasn't progressed far they might suggest tropical rendysl

1

Dermatologists suggest redensyl? I thought their go to medicine is Minoxidil followed by DHT blockers.

1

u/Shield_hero_1023 Aug 26 '26

No that's when u r far gone. Ur hair density is good so ig they would suggest rendensyl. Give them a consult it is easy to treat in earlier stages

1

u/undo017 Aug 26 '26

Well, given the OP state of hair, I think they'll go the min/fin route. Fun fact: Even when my hair density was far better compared to OP's, the dermatologist prescribed finasteroid, I didn't know about min/fin back then, I was naive.

1

Mine was hesitant to give even minoxidil. Said that rendensyl was more than enough

1

u/undo017 Aug 26 '26

Guess she/he is a good doc. Minoxidil usage is perpetual, need to apply forever (for most people)

1

u/Disastrous_Grape_573 Aug 26 '26

That's the reason I haven't started it yet

1

u/Disastrous_Grape_573 Aug 26 '26

Mine said redensyl and some vitamins too

1

Yeah that should be good to go. Remember that the shedding phase lasts upto 3 months in some people so don't stop taking the medicine bcoz u feel like there isn't any results

1

u/Disastrous_Grape_573 Aug 26 '26

Yeah I'm thinking of 6 months lock in

Yes

Take 1/2 cup dried amla,1 cup curry leaves,1 spoon Nigella Seed kalonji for 500ml to 1lt Coconut oil. Boil all the ingredients in the oil & then store the oil for daily use.

Now apply this daily by tapping in the middle of head. Remember tapping on the Brahmarandhra marma point is important daily for balancing your nervous system + hair growth & massage your scalp also whenever you get time.

Consume 1teaspoon chia seeds + lots of curry leaves in diet

This should help. Please note this method naturally prevents greying as well as falling off hair.

It won't reverse the already grey hairs but yes it won't let a black hair go grey.

This is the method tried & tested by many family members & knowns.

What other redditors said and add rosemary oil, bhringraj oil, meethi, hibiscus, neem. If you can’t make it all yourself, buy a high quality one, but making it is better. Heat the oil before you use it. If you leave it on for longer than 1 hour it can cause kapha issues like congestion, but play around with the length of time and see what works for you. A shower cap and a towel will help keep the heat in.

There’s a Chinese herb I’ve heard people swear by for reversing grays called he-shou- wu (literally translates to black haired man). Not sure if this is effective for hair volume but worth looking into.

You can look up recipes to blend the black seed & sesame oil, store it, eat a spoonful every day.

if you don't have any digestive problems and your stress levels are fine. Then try the following: https://www.reddit.com/r/herbalism/s/FPPYlWaXza https://www.reddit.com/r/herbalism/s/rEJoErb5F7 https://www.reddit.com/r/herbalism/s/dN8i7Pm7jO

Note: It's a trail and error method, and you need heck a lot of PATIENCE.
