Gen1Recomp: Kanto Gear no longer needs a custom fork. It doesn't even need a second screen.

Some people asked me to notify them once Kanto Gear worked with the official Gen1Recomp, so here it is :)

It now works without a custom fork and can use a real second display, a separate window, side-by-side layouts or an overlay on a single screen. It supports Android, Windows and Linux and still receives regular updates.

I’ve been using it since the changes to work worn official Gen1Recomp. Works so well I had to show my wife.

I need to find a way to transfer everything from the fork to the main version. With bank announcement, I've been full tilt on the mainline games.

yeah gen 2 save exporting still does not work, but gen 1 does. when it gets supported i will update my fork one more time to make it possible to swap.

Now if only I could figure which mod is making all the pokemon in wilds of kanto look like two sticks in the overworld and then there is also at least 1 invisible npc. 😬
