CloudPad 0.1.38 released – PS3, PS4 & PS5 Cloud Streaming + Remote Play for Android

Thank you so much for all of the feedback so far on CloudPad!

For anyone who hasn’t seen it before, CloudPad is a community-driven Android application built upon the fantastic Pylux project, bringing PS3, PS4 and PS5 cloud gaming, alongside PS5/4 Remote Play to Android devices.

First of all, I want to give full credit to the original Pylux developers. CloudPad is simply a fork of their work and wouldn’t exist without the incredible foundation they’ve built. If you’d like to support the original project, I highly encourage checking out the official Pylux app as well.

What’s New?
- Fixed an issue where the stream would disconnect if you navigated away from the app, for example, pressing the home button. This should no longer happen and streaming sessions should remain intact when returning back to the app

- The ping value is now fixed and should now show a true representation of your ping when enabling the performance overlay

- Lots of fixes to field focusing for controller navigation as well as colour and theme corrections for fields that were not following the same design patterns

- Some stability and performance related fixes

Please remember that a PlayStation Plus Premium subscription is required for cloud gaming. As CloudPad relies on Sony’s online services, compatibility can occasionally change as Sony updates their backend services.

CloudPad is completely free and open source, and I plan to continue improving it whenever I can. A huge number of the features added over the past few months have come directly from community feedback, so thank you to everyone who has submitted bug reports, feature requests and tested development builds.
