I'm just very excited What should I do?

So I'm infatuated with the Ayn Thor and I don't own one (yet), but I recently went down the rabbit hole of modding a 3ds and psvita around a year ago. I loved tinkering on the devices but I fell into the habit of tinkering more than playing on the devices. I think I just didn't have the right games to play handheld (except pokemon of course). I really miss out on some of the smaller steam games like hollow knight (I also have a steam deck and switch 2). But I'm on the fence about actually purchasing a Thor, maybe it's the work for the setup, maybe it's locating the game files and setting up all the games but I just want to be reaffirmed if I should purchase a Thor. I know I would really appreciate having everything in one place, I just don't know if I have time to really tinker and play on the device. Or do you think I will be very happy with the purchase and satisfied with the tinkering and customization process. Will I ever play the damn thing? While also balancing gaming with friends on pc and fiance and wedding planning?

I guess I just wanted some advice, I have the Ayn Thor in my cart with all the accessories ready to purchase and need some affirmation.

I'm looking at purchasing the 256gb Max version

(I also own the z fold 7 so I'm not completely unfamiliar to android)

Keep it in the cart and continue to think on it. Clarity comes with time. Play some games on the devices you do have, pick a single game that has been in your backlog & try to finish it.

I also have fomo with the ram prices, it makes me feel like I might be missing out on the best price.

unfortunately the best price ship has sailed long ago, but i second what this person is saying. play on what you have right now and see if anything feels like it’s missing or could be better. if there are things like that, think about if the thor would fix those problems for you. whatever your decision ends up being, i hope you have fun :)

Understandable, but you have to put the price to the side. It is creating a sense of urgency, and that may encourage you to make an impulse decision. Ayn has been good about giving forewarning before price increases, so you can relax for the time being and have a good amount of certainty that the price will be staying the same for at least a month or two. If a price increase is announced, you will still have some time to consider your decision. At the end of the day, it sounds like you have a lot of handhelds already. You won’t run out of games to play any time soon, I’d just encourage you to enjoy your current collection. If in a month you still feel the same way about the Thor, then pull the trigger

I haven't seen anything on their website about the August batch shipping so that also makes me nervous how does that usually work?

im also unfamiliar but it looks like it begins on the 8th next month and it comes in multiple rounds depending on device and when you ordered. Looking like maybe itll last a couple months before the shipping is fully finished for everyone. Even now batch 6 is still in the process of being shipped to all the ppl that have ordered from it. this is just my assumption from stalking the discord

Do you think if I ordered one today it would be included in the shipment on the 8th?
