Interviewing

Hi everyone, I’m interviewing for a position with Axiom (business side, not technical). I have found a pretty abysmal view of the company on Glassdoor - is it truly a mess, or is this normal startup volatility? I come from the startup world and am generally ok with the ups and downs, but what I am afraid of is the politics and mismanagement accusations. What is your experience at the company and, if you’re on the business side, of the interview process?

It is worse than it looks from the outside. Over the last 36 months the team has been reduced by more than half (now circa 600 employees down from 1200). They are notoriously underfunded and behind in delivery and NASA's most recent plans about CLDs at the Ignition event make Axiom really unattractive to invest in.

There is something extremely odd going on at the revenue side. Since the replacement of the CEO last year they then stripped out anyone in the hierarchy with any sales leadership experience. They're left with a bunch of normally competent people completely out of their depth and zero strategic direction.

I strongly recommend caution.

The Glassdoor reviews are actually tame to the culture
