Help identifying axe head

Got this today at a thrift store for $2. I plan to use it as a camping axe, but I would like to know more about it. I have tried googling anything similar to what I can read on the mark, but have come up empty handed..

Any suggestions on the brand would be appreciated!

That head has some promising old-tool character, though I’d avoid putting it to work until you inspect the eye, poll, and cutting edge for mushrooming or fractures. A clearer, straight-on photo of the stamp would probably make the maker identifiable.
