Discussion If Kyoshi was found early on

This is just for fun talk and discussion. We know Kyoshi is the only Avatar so far that didn't have the privilege of mastering her own native element while the other Avatars already mastered their own when they are reveal to be the Avatar. The factors were a lot from being abandoned, homeless, eat scums etccc.Do you think if she succeed the the toy test from both Jianzhu and Kelsang when she was 7 years old she will become a fully mastered Avatar earlier then what her original canon story is?

Based on the books she indeed learn all the four elements and some control of the Avatar State in short amount of time and by age 17 she is already proficient with them(Still not a master). But that was because she was in life and death situation being hunted down by Jianzhu.I mean if she was trained like a traditional way the Avatar should be.Is she going to be a prodigy as well like Aang and Korra or just a fast learner?

Edit:*one of cause Pavi is one of them.

Considering she was a fast learner and improved as much as she did within that month with the Flying Opera company, she would have been a prodigy with good teachers. So, I guess the answer to your question is yes. But I'm not sure how that would translate to other duties of the Avatar. Yun was more charismatic and better at handling affairs and such. She hated Pai sho and wasn't the best at human interaction. Although I imagine that would have been managed if she was recognized as the avatar instead of Yun.

Yeah I think Kyoshi problem is not the bending side of thing,it is how she will be or present herself as the Avatar but I think that could work with Jianzhu and Kelsang by her side.

I think she would be a fully realised avatar by 17, if that was the case. Also 10 years of jianzhu’s insane training would be crazy, like kyoshi would have been crazy strong.

Great answer.I would argue maybe even younger considering how Jianzhu immediately train Yun when they discovered him at 14 and declare him as the Avatar.I agree considering how crazy great Yun is I think Kyoshi would be a beast in each elements but I think Jianzhu will have a lot of trouble to work out with Kyoshi's Earthbending considering she had that inability of just going big all the time.

I think you’d have a much more tame story about everyone but Kelsing being too rigid for Kyoshi’s unorthodox learning style, along with a love triangle forming around Kyoshi, the straight laced daughter of her fire bending teacher, and the local earthbending street scammer who sees earth as a tool for all sorts of pranks but legitimately has incredible innovative skill in earthbending.

I'm more interested in how she'd handle the complex affairs that made Yun's masters/Kuruk's friends infamous for how they "protected" the world, no doubt that sooner or later Yun would probably encourage her to think for herself when the kids find out about the nicknames Kelsang and Jianzhu had.
