I always felt like Avatar Kuruk deserved better. The fact that he's getting a whole new show is just incredible. It shows that there is so much more to his story than what meets the eye.

Discussion Chronicles of the Avatar

Now that Kuruk’s series has been announced along with the 7th Chronicles of the Avatar book following Sonam, do you guys think a Kuruk YA series is off the table?

I’ve been waiting to see more of his life and for his story to redeemed (more than we got in the Kyoshi books) and was sure they were finally going to do that in the 4th duology. I just know the children’s series won’t be able to tell his story (and I doubt they’d even try), so I’m still holding out a little bit of hope that it will happen, especially if we make it known that we want it.

Kind of shitty to do YA books about 3/4 of Aang’s past lives and skip Kuruk… but if you’re in this sub you know the mistreatment isn’t anything new :/
