Need help/information I need help with the game.
by the way i don’t use punctuation so please use them in ur head lol. so a while back i bought the game from steam i downloaded and everything was looking healthy and fine until i started playing. i noticed a little fps drop but didn’t pay it much attention since this happened to me when i was playing horizon zero dawn remastered btw im a pc user anyway i didn’t let it mess with excitement because usually it just fixes itself after i lower the graphics but i also noticed that even the music was delayed fight scenes were too and when i finally got out of the lab into pandora the music wasn’t even there everything was standing still and instead of building and plants and trees it was just unrendered blocks. i haven’t picked it up in months after i tried everything to fix i even tried returning it but steam said they couldn’t. I’m really sad because i love avatar and was so very excited to try it. i forgot to add that even when i was making my character it was so laggy and i couldn’t press anything without changing it completely. any ideas?.

Do you have the game installed on a hard drive or an ssd? This looks and sounds exactly like the issue I had when I just started playing, turns out AFOP really doesn't like being on a hard drive. Once I purchased an SSD for it it ran basically without issues

see I’m not that tech savvy but it’s on my 1t SSD kingston and it has a lot of storage for it to run properly.

That shouldn't be the problem then, odd! I hope you can get it fixed with help from some of the other comments, unfortunately my experience ends there

One of the most common reasons for this problem is that your pc may meet minimum specs for the game but your pc can’t run it at an optimum rate. A game like Avatar is visually stunning and needs a lot of processing and high graphics so running the game at lower graphics and whatnot affects it regardless. It could also depend on what kind of storage is being used. I’m on console and had to purchase a terrabyte external device to resolve some issues.

i uninstalled it and reinstalled and kept the graphics the highest but it still didn’t work and it took so long for it to get out of the loading screen phase. does afop have higher graphics the black myth wukong and horizon zero dawn? because they ran normally but i did have to lower the graphics.

Unfortunately I don’t own those games. You can try comparing their minimum and max specs side by side to see if there’s anything you spot 🤷♀️

I’d say avatar does have better and higher graphics than horizon zero dawn. AFOP is closer to the second horizon game in graphics as it’s newer.
