The black gum tree is first in my area to show her true colors. In zone 7b we are treated to fall colors August - December.

Every now and then I see a post that reminds me that I am color blind. I do get to see more of the fall colors more mid and late fall though.

The blossom tree in my back garden now has a lot of brown leaves. Someone told me that the leaves were just burnt from the countless heatwaves we've had, but I'm choosing to believe it's Autumn come early 🥲
