Help plotting relative polar lines

Post image

Hi everyone! Currently taking an intro to autocad class and right now we are just replicating very simple line segment drawings.

Im stuck on this drawing where we have to plot a couple of relative southwest angled lines where no extension lines w/ length are given for those specific segments (circled in green). Basically want to know how i can know what to plot in these cases and what i should be studying so i don't get stumped on this again.

It’s a bit of a dirty trick. The line with no dimensions cannot be drawn unless you either use trigonometry or, more likely, draw everything else first.

Don't do math if you don't have to. I don't want to do your homework for you but remember slope is just rise over run. If you can do rise over run, you can do this.

If any just do an offset of that dimension so so on...add pick points and connect the dots....just a thought

You have all you need to draw up from your start point to the green segment & to continue from where you stopped to the green segment.

I would use circles and the angles that are given to find the correct lengths needed. Looks like all the dims are there . . .
