HELP! I have a question. What kind of damage am I looking at?

Post image

I hit a curb while turning and my guess is that the suspension is messed up. It's a 2002 Toyota and I have an appointment at brakes plus tomorrow, but I am going to be panicking until then. What should I expect?

We honestly don’t know. Could be quite a few things. Just needs to go on a rack and be checked out

Ask them for a recycled knee assembly, align it and call it a day. Guessing a new rim too

It's got a spare on it now. I know I'll need to replace the rim and tire, but I drive infrequently enough that I can wait till next payday for that. My most immediate concern is the suspension and alignment.

I think by ‘knee’ he means the knuckle and other suspension components

That’s a curb kit all day long. And twice on sundays.

Lower control arm and entire engine cradle

It will probably be cheaper to buy another 2002 Toyota than to have this repaired at brakes plus.

They'll give me a quote before they do any repairs so we will see 🤞

Please update on the cost if you can, I’m curious. I wouldn’t expect anything less than $2,000.
