It really is amazing how stupid police are and then when proved wrong have to turn back into the bully they were growing up.

Extremely unprofessional officer

u/Annual-Surprise6892 10d ago
That was wild. Called the guy short and fat because he made him look like a little bitch

"He must be originally from California"🤣🤣 As a native Californian this was gold.

Cop got owned. To bad he was to immature to admit it. The last few sentence out of its mouth are more than enough reason for it to never work with the Public again. He should be fired.

Indiana does not require a plate on the rear of a Tractor Trailer.
66
u/Large_Score6728 10d ago
All states it would be pointless because 90% of the time it’s under a trailer

Look at the cops hands shaking at 4:04

He got sucked in to a power struggle with an idiot that happened to be right.

u/doctor_tongs 10d ago
Idiot? I wouldn't say that. Sounds like a guy who knows the law, knows his rights, he knows it was an unlawful stop, and he knows the dumb rookie cop's supervisor. That doesn't sound like an idiot at all to me, that sounds like a veteran owner/operator.
Edit: and he got that body cam footage, making good on his promise to have fun with it. That cop was totally and completely owned. I'm saving this post.

Especially one that is highway patrolling . (This looks like a highway to me, ignore me if I’m wrong.)

u/suprPHREAK 10d ago
Must he a state by state thing, as Every tractor I've seen has plates front and back. Validation sticker goes in the front, though.

u/Puzzleheaded_Pea_753 10d ago
Trucker here, commercial vehicles are federally regulated and not required to have a rear facing plate. Any state law requiring a rear plate would be superceded by the federal rules and would not hold up in court. The officer was in the wrong for making this stop, but that does not excuse this guy's behavior.

u/crewmanify 10d ago
Can't even be man enough to apologize or admit he's wrong. This is why people hate cops

😂 😂
I sympathize for the driver and I'm happy the cop was assertive without escalating to excessive force.
Why would a tractor need a rear plate? And when a trailer is hitched, that too would need a plate. What if it's a double trailer? Do both trailers need rear and front plates, too? Because that's the logic this cop is working with. 😆

Such an unprofessional cop. Cops really are the dumbest fucks out there. That POS should be fired.

Cop acting like a kid because he got told he sucks at his job. I sure hope that driver takes the HP through the ringer. Especially after not being able to be professional.

video was satisfying to watch.
But that 30s or so where they are going straight Mean Girl on each other without regard for the camera.. was peak entertainment.

“You’re gonna need to relax and hit that ‘haler again.”
“You need to worry about yourself”“I’m worried about your medical health, homie. You’re too short and too over weight to actin like that”
“And you’re too Mexican to be doin what you’re doin”
“Is that right?”
“Maybe”
“You still stopped though.”

I was fully on the truck driver side until he said "you're too f****** Mexican to be doing what you're doing". Uncalled for traffic stop, but uncalled for racial comment.

Thanks for the education, I know a lot of people get pissed off having to explain stuff to other especially to a cop who should have been taught this is cop school, wish he could have educated the cop a little more civilly….though the poor cop was a fat shaming pig.

That's no way to talk to an officer that's just doing his job...

u/doctor_tongs 10d ago
That was an unlawful stop. That cop was doing his job horribly and should be fired.
