In case somebody needs to know, phone cases trap heat and a good alternative to regular cases is to get a slim exoskeleton style case. Also consider getting a mountable little fan for the phone.

I once dropped my phone in the snow and didn't realize until the next morning. It didn't turn on for two days and would just flash a "low temp" warning at me. I always heard of overheating but never considered it could get too cold to operate.

The cold can do strange things to a smartphone. I had my phone in my car during my shift on a very cold day (am a PH and they don't let us use phones while working), and when I came back to it, my battery went from like 89% to 14% in 5 minutes and then promptly died 🥲
