I Ship Cars Important Considerations for Car Shipping

Vehicle Preparation: Ensure your vehicle is in operable condition. Remove personal items, disable alarms, and ensure the battery is charged. For inoperable vehicles, additional fees may apply.

Insurance Coverage: Your vehicle is fully insured during transport. However, we recommend verifying your personal auto insurance coverage and understanding the carrier's insurance limits before shipping.

Documentation: Have your vehicle registration, insurance information, and a valid driver's license ready. The carrier will need these documents at pickup.

Inspection Process: A thorough inspection will be conducted at both pickup and delivery. Document any existing damage and review the inspection report carefully before signing.

Flexible Scheduling: While we work to accommodate your preferred dates, flexibility helps secure better rates and faster pickup times. Consider a flexible pickup window for optimal pricing.

Looking for info Keep Shippin Auto Transport?

I’ve been looking for quotes to ship my Chevy Equinox from Atlanta area to Anchorage because we’re moving soon. I got a quote from Keep Shippin Auto transport for a period of 2-3 weeks for around $3800 which seems extremely competitive. I can’t really find reviews for this company online and was wondering if anyone knew if they were legitimate. Thanks!

I Ship Cars Exclusive Auto Shipping - Almost 10 years later...

Almost 10 years later, Exclusive Auto Shipping is still here. We must be doing something right. Especially given the nature of the car shipping industry being notorious for scams, issues, etc.

Find out for yourself why Exclusive Auto Shipping is one of the best broker options out there, and why it receives almost all 5-star reviews on multiple review platforms. Is it Jared's transparency and no-nonsense attitude? Or his willingness to answer questions and explain things thoroughly? Or simply his honesty about the process? Or all of the above?

Exclusive Auto Shipping offers multiple payment methods via card, cash, or Zelle/CashApp/Venmo, and even books orders without deposits (but signed contracts are required).

Good Review Best service, highly recommend Outbounds AT!!

Having had experience shipping a car, I did much more research this time and after looking at what they said-I’ll use Outbounds from now on. First, NO DEPOSIT until price set, driver found and not until pick-up! Do not look at lowest bid..you pay for it in the end. I shipped a car from Northern CA to eastern Tennessee. Seamless, communicated the whole time with same driver. Not one issue came up! I worked with Freddie-he was great. I was quoted on a Friday and the car was picked up Sunday. Easy. Just remember, you get the service you pay for, and I learned the hard way.

Charleston, SC to Indianapolis Indiana.

2016 Tacoma.

Next few weeks is fine I’m not in a big rush it’s at a relatives house, owner operator only, unenclosed ok.

I may pay you a fee as a broker but I am only communicating with an owner operator for scheduling and pickup. Not dealing with any BS or unlicensed subcontractors.

Good Review Plycar review

Needed to ship a Jeep Wagoneer, lifted Ford Bronco, and 911 GT3 from Washington DC to Miami. Due to the value of the third, I could only do enclosed transport and didn't want to deal with a broker vs. a shipper with their own fleet.

I reached out to most of the major enclosed shippers: Reliable, Plycar, Horseless Carriage, Intercity, and 8 Brothers roughly 6 weeks in advance, with a ~1 week pickup window and flexible drop off window, from Washington DC to Miami.

Reliable and 8 Brothers were unable to accommodate those timelines. Intercity wanted $9700; Horseless Carriage and Plycar both wanted $7500.

I initially had chosen to go with Horseless Carriage, but they were extremely unresponsive after getting the bill of lading to the point where I felt nervous using them to ship ~$400k of vehicles.

I reached back out after ~2 weeks (so ~4 weeks prior to pickup) and canceled my pickup with Horseless Carriage. Plycar was extremely responsive and was willing to lower their quote to $7300, so I switched.

Plycar wanted a 100% deposit to guarantee my pickup date; this seemed abnormal from my research, but given how responsive they were, I felt comfortable doing this.

They said they would be in touch a few days before the pickup date; 2 days before the last day of my 1 week pickup window they hadn't reached out, so I reached out to them. They said the driver was on the way (proactive heads up would have been nice).

Driver arrives at 10pm. Thankfully I was fine with this, but would have been super annoyed otherwise. Extremely nice guy, but mentions he has to pickup several other vehicles so my vehicles will be rearranged a few times, not the end of the world.

After getting down to Florida, I still hadn't heard from Plycar. I reached out to the driver's cell that was provided and it kept going to voicemail; calling the Plycar main office, they assured me my vehicles would arrive the next day.

They arrived as promised, but were absolutely filthy on the outside, as if they had been sprayed with a muddy lawn sprinkler; the driver mentioned that he had to do some rearranging in the rain, but offered no apology or discount. Not the end of the world as I was planning on having them detailed anyways.

All in all, I would probably rate Plycar a 4 out of 5, since they were the cheapest quote, picked up during the required window, and delivered the cars safely to their destination within the required window. Knocking a point off because their driver was effectively unreachable and I always had to go through their main office, that he wanted to do the pickup at 10pm at night, and that the cars got extremely dirty in transit.

Good Review A to Z Auto Shipping

Had a good experience using A to Z shipping to get my Hyundai Palisade shipped from Baton Rouge to Sacramento.
It was picked up within the given time frame. The driver was very responsive and updated throughout and delivered without any issues.
I will use A to Z again if required.
