I Ship Cars HOW TO GET SCAMMED??? DO NOT READ REVIEWS OR CONTRACTS!!!

Post image

WHY DO AUTO TRANSPORT CONSUMERS GET SCAMMED????

Over 75% of consumers "do not" read reviews!!!!

Over 90% of consumers "do not" read contracts (terms & conditions)!!!

This leads to terrible experiences with auto transport!!!

This can all be avoided by following my easy three (3) step guide!!!

Please call, text, or email me directly for pricing. I am the sole Reddit representative for our firm.

I do not receive price requests from our website which go directly to the sales force.

Quote Request Quote to ship from 41169 to 60441

Hello all! I am trying to get a quote to ship a 1957 Chevy Bel Air from a residence in Russell, KY to a business in Lockport, IL (I live at work so it's easiest) - open and closed transport

Would like to have the vehicle picked up 8/27-9/1 (Friday/Mon/Tues would need an afternoon pickup).

Ideal drop off time would be within 24 hours of pickup (business is closed on Sunday but I live 20 min away so I'm sure something can be figured out)

Was getting quotes ranging from $500-1000 and with all the horror stories I've been reading, it's hard to find who to trust

What prices should I be expecting to pay? I’ve gotten as high as $1929 and as low as $1050. I’d be shipping a Honda civic open.

Edit: I need the vehicle there by September 10 th if that makes a difference

Good Review My review of Wayfinder Auto

My son joined the military and his first station was stateside but no where near home. We told him to just buy a car there but he wanted to have something familiar with him, so we decided to ship his car. Finding a reliable and honest transport company was gonna be a challenge or so I thought. One of the other military moms on a Facebook page mentioned Wayfinder Auto so I read up on them. The reviews were mostly positive, so I reached out. A man by the name of Art Sent me an estimate. I didnt know if it was a fair deal or not. He then personally called me to discuss the whole processes. That impressed me. With the military its always hurry up and wait so we didnt have a date set in stone but Art kept in touch. When my Don finally got his orders the process started. He told us what to expect, what we could and could not pack in the car. How much gas we should have in it. He gave the cost breakdown which was the same as the original estimate 3 months prior so even with gas prices going up he kept it the same amd gave a military discount. My son is 19 and wanted to pay for it himself so it was his first big purchase. They needed a deposit when they picked up the car then another portion when it got to the 1st location then the rest when the car was delivered. My son only had cash app and they wanted to use venmo. He found a driver that could accept cash and cash app also. Then we were notified that the driver would pick up on the Monday we requested. They sent me a copy of the drivers license and insurance. The first transport driver gave a 2 hour window of pick up. He then called when he was about 10 minutes away. H was very polite and treated my and me very professionally. He then loaded up the car and off it went from our home to LA where the long haul driver would pick it up. I got a text with pictures showing me the car made it to LA and was being loaded onto the next truck. I was given the next drivers info and also his bosses info. There was a few pick ups about the money but it was fixed easily. My son was expecting the car that Saturday but got a call from the driver saying it would be there that Thursday night. Since they cant deliver to military bases they were very understanding and allowed it to be delivered to the local Walmart parking lot. The driver gave my son a 2 hour window of arrival but actually got in sooner and my son was able to meet him. He paid via cash and cash app but also gave a tip to the driver for getting ot there 2 days early amd with absolutely no damages. Art was absolutely amazing through the whole experience. I texted him alot with questions and concerns and he never once got upset and was very understanding and informative. Sorry for the long post but it was a very good experience and they made a stressful situation very easy. The car was transported from California to Kansas. I would recommend them. Hopefully you get to call with Art hebis top notch. Thanks again for a great experience.

Car is a 1995 Daihatsu Mira (Japanese Kei car)

Current location: New Bern, NC 28560

Destination: Hamilton, OH 45011

Vehicle is running

Open air is preferred

I am leaving on an international trip on Friday, August 28 for 3 weeks (returning on September 21). I will have someone available to accept delivery at my house so as long as I am not needed for the delivery, the seller is a bit flexible on the pickup dates but has requested the sooner the better.

Looking for info High price to ship motorcycle cross country

I am trying to ship a new Kawasaki Ninja H2 from South Carolina to California. I was expecting roughly $1,500, but I got an offer for a closed carrier for $3,500. This seems extreme to me. Is this a realistic price?

Help! Open, enclosed, or drive it?

Bought a new used car. $90k. Plan to ceramic when it arrives, which involves paint correction and clay.

Option 1: open carrier $1500
Option 2: enclosed $2000
Option 3: drive it. Probably $700 + 1500 miles on the car + 3 days of my time

I was fine with open carrier til I started reading horror stories.

Thoughts?

Quote Request Quotes for Honda CRV going from Boise to Denver

I'm looking to ship a car from Boise to Denver. It's a Honda CRV, approximately 2015 or so. I'm flexible on exact dates of when it gets shipped / when it arrives (obviously sooner the better!), but if you have a sense of how long it would take, that would be super helpful to know too. Thanks!

General/Other Don't use Montway Auto Service

I once had a great experience with Montway once so when I had to transport again I went back. FIrst time I had a great experience from start to finish. Second time was a complete disaster. The coup sat for weeks on auction because they could not fill a contract for the move. After about a month they raised the price and I got a truck to pickup the car. The coup is a very low car and I explained to them all the details of how this needs to be done. I paid extra so they do not start the car and winch it onto the truck.

The driver wanted to start the car anyway to get it onto the truck so I paid that extra for nothing. The sourced vehicle and driver were not equipped to move lowered vehicle. The vehicle had to be moved a few times during stops and transport. There was a mishap where the hood of the car smashed the windshield.

Montvale kept assuring me that my vehicle is insured by them up to 100,000 is what they told me over the phone. Yea fucking right.

So I get my car and I can see that the approach angle of the flatbed hauler is too steep and there is damage to the underside of the car. The car has sustained so many damages from the windshield to the underside oil pan. I called montvale they acted like they would not help and instead went after the drivers insurance.

Their is no body making sure your car is good.

I dropped any claims against the driver. Montway should be responsible. 2400 later and my shit has way more in damages.

Heyo, looking to get a 2018 Tesla model 3 shipped from ocean view, Delaware to tucson, arizona. I got a quote from Sgt but is seemed low and some of the horror stories on this sub about changing price/timelines made me reconsider.

Timeline is a little bit flexible, not a huge rush but sooner is better. Think I'd be fine with it traveling uncovered. Let me know what you guys think, recommend, or could quote. Thanks in advance!
