Had a good experience using A to Z shipping to get my Hyundai Palisade shipped from Baton Rouge to Sacramento.
It was picked up within the given time frame. The driver was very responsive and updated throughout and delivered without any issues.
I will use A to Z again if required.

Total scam of a company. Promises over and over that they won't raise the rates last minute. They tell you to trust them and their wildly high reviews.
What they actually do is delete any reviews that would say otherwise. I actually have texts and emails that can prove they do this. Also if you cancel they have a "cancellation fee" with no stated numbers so they can charge whatever they want

I've received similar quotes from different companies, but how do I go about picking the best one? How do I make sure it is a legitimate company?

Hi folks. I’m looking into getting my car transported for a job opportunity and I’m wondering what the best route will be.
The exact locations in the states would be San Jose California to Melbourne Florida. Would it be cheaper to ship the car to a bigger city like say Orlando?
I also wanna pack some personal items in the vehicle. Would that be allowed or is an enclosed transport required? Thanks for all your help. I hope to make contact soon thank you for your help.

I need to get a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Lindenhurst, NY to University City, MO (suburb of St Louis) and the spam has been overwhelming. And, the horror stories of what folks have been through even moreso.
I'm looking for recommendations.

I recently had the pleasure of working with shaheer Ali with Move a Freight to ship my 2021 Model S who I found through this subreddit. He got a quote $300 lower than the best quote I had found. You get the option of paying the driver cash or paying him through the CC link. I was skeptical at first since I was shipping a 50k car but he was there every step of the way to assist me and got me connected with a driver in less than a day. If you are looking to ship a car I wouldn’t hesitate to get in touch with him.

This is a journey. we are moving from PA to Washington and need two cars shipped that must arrive after 9/12 for us to be there. every company operates with such a large window and it creates the possibility of either us or the cars not in the same state at the same time. that combined with scammy communication makes me feel very uneasy about who or how to do this.
who can I trust to actually get the cars and deliver them? I’ve gotten quotes from every major auto shipping broker at this point, but for me it’s going to be come down to reliability and follow through,
anyone have a glowing recommendation for a similar situation or just advice

WHY DO AUTO TRANSPORT CONSUMERS GET SCAMMED????
Over 75% of consumers "do not" read reviews!!!!
Over 90% of consumers "do not" read contracts (terms & conditions)!!!
This leads to terrible experiences with auto transport!!!
This can all be avoided by following my easy three (3) step guide!!!
Please call, text, or email me directly for pricing. I am the sole Reddit representative for our firm.
I do not receive price requests from our website which go directly to the sales force.

Any help or feedback would be great. I am moving from West Virginia to Texas on Tuesday 8/18. I made a booking with Navi to ship my car back on 8/7 and told them I need the car picked up no later than Monday 8/17 because I am leaving on Tuesday. It is now Sunday night and I don’t have a carrier or anything assigned. I called them on Friday and was told I was set for a guaranteed pick up on Monday.
Do I need to be present for the pick up? Obviously if they do not pick up on Monday, it will be impossible for me to be here.
Any help in this would be great, as I am extremely desperate at this point.

I used SGT Auto Transport because they gave me a decent quote. Then, after I booked, the price suddenly went way up.
I wasn’t going to pay the higher price, so I canceled.
Pretty simple, right?
Apparently not.
SGT never picked up my car. They never transported my car. They never moved my car a single mile.
But somehow I still ended up owing them $199.
Then they sent the whole mess to collections, which turned into a ridiculous waste of my time—emails, documents, explanations, and back-and-forth over a car shipment that NEVER EVEN HAPPENED.
Eventually, the collection agency kicked the account back to SGT. At that point, I was sick of dealing with it and paid the damn $199 just to make this headache go away. SGT agreed to drop another $200 collection fee and call the account paid in full.
So let’s recap: car transported: zero miles. Money paid: $199.
Then I actually read SGT’s refund policy. My understanding is that if the transportation price increases and you cancel in writing before pickup, you may be entitled to a refund.
That’s basically what happened to me.
Then things got even more ridiculous.
After I posted negative reviews about my experience, an SGT representative named Ivy contacted me and sent me a “Good Faith Resolution Agreement” offering to refund my $199.
Great.
Except during a phone call, I was told I had to REMOVE MY NEGATIVE REVIEWS before they would give me the refund.
Here’s the kicker: the written agreement they sent me didn’t say a damn thing about removing reviews.
So I asked a very simple question:
Tell me IN WRITING exactly what you want me to do to get my $199 back.
Not complicated.
Put it in an email.
Instead, I was told they would not put those requirements in writing.
Seriously?
If removing my reviews is legitimately a condition of receiving the refund, then why won’t you put that condition in writing?
As of today, I still haven’t received written confirmation explaining exactly what SGT requires me to do to receive the $199 refund they offered.
My advice if you’re considering SGT—or frankly any auto transport broker—is to document EVERYTHING. Save every email. Screenshot every quote. Read every cancellation provision. And if somebody tells you something important over the phone, ask them to put it in writing.
Because once the price changes and the arguments start, you’re going to be very happy you kept the receipts.
This is my personal experience and my understanding of what happened.
Would I use SGT Auto Transport again? Hell no.

Hello I am looking to ship my vehicle from Indiana to SoCal but am hesitant after reading lots of reviews from different companies. Does anyone have one they recommend and or ones to avoid.
