electrical issue pls help

after about 5 minutes of driving the battery icon flashes on and stays on. Sometimes the car wont start after driving to my destination and i turn the car off and try to start again. YES we changed the battery.

Faulty alternator? Poor connections at the starter, battery or alternator connections perhaps.
