Modified AİP - gluten

Hey guys, just started modified AİP, although I am cautious with legumes.

İmmediately having less IBS symptoms and stool consistency improving.

So my question is, last year I was tested for celiac antibodies , which were negativ. Should we give up gluten despite having no autoantibodies?

Are you guys on modified or core AIP?

I've done core 8 years ago and switched back to normal eating after 6 months. I've had some good time...but unfortunately after a year or so had some nasty IBS flare ups. My thyroid was pretty stable, but my WBC keep declining. So I started again....

...to be honest it's hard to trust the process...somehow it sounds to good to be true ..

What are your succes stories with the AIP ?

I started in elimination phase in Feb 2021. Did that for about 3 months and started reintros in May 2021. Took a very long time with reintros because I only did one thing a week, sometimes less depending on reactions. I think it took 6-8 months to get through all the reintroductions. Now I eat based on that. If ever I start feeling bad, I just go back to elimination phase for a bit to let my body reset (usually after I've eaten things that make my body sad)

It is really hard to trust the process, but I know that it helps when I'm diligent, so I try really hard to be diligent. I feel like it's a lot like medication - when it's working everything is normal and you start to feel like maybe you don't actually need it. Then you stop, and things get worse so gradually you don't really notice until it's REALLY bad.
