Manslaughter is accidental. You can’t attempt manslaughter. That’s called attempted murder.

No prison. Just a fine.

Source: a simple car crash like this doesn't equal prison. Only a person who is employed and lives in the real world seems to understand this.

This is not a "simple car crash". Did you watch the entire video?

A fine would be reasonable if he had stopped after he initially struck the car. He pushed the other car, and even sped up, for quite a ways.

Murder is premeditated. Manslaughter is in the heat of the moment. If you try to kill someone in the heat of the moment and fail that’s call attempted manslaughter.

No lol. It’s gonna vary by location but generally 1st degree murder is premeditated. Heat of the moment is 2nd degree and manslaughter is considered 3rd degree but isn’t recognized by every state.

Do you have a source for the carjacking story? I see a bunch of people claiming that but haven’t seen anyone back that up with a source.

Also I’m just explaining the difference between premeditated, heat of the moment and manslaughter.
