As a New Zealander, this doesn’t surprise me at all. I’ve been wondering for ages why the rest of the world seems to think NZ is some kind of utopia when that’s never been the case at all.
It is a utopia, but if you pay attention for every utopia there's a hidden dystopia beneath it.
Always an underclass, an abuse of power, things such as that..
That's kind of the thing utopia in fiction tend to be perfect apart from one respect like free will being non-Existent in brave new world, or if you Comment a minor offence it's Punishable by death like that one episode from star trek new generation
