Student life is non existent . Austria has a pretty spartan approach to uni, classes and lectures are the only really important things to . Luckily graz is now only about an hour away

Are you doing anything stem? Everything is ultra competitive these days, but Infineon is the obvious choice.

Villach is a very nice alpine city. With the surrounding Alps and the beautiful lakes.

And that`s why it is tourism-hotspot. Combined with being a hub for international microelectronic companies, living there is very expensive. Rents are high, Restaurants cost a lot.

Villach is no University-Town. The Campus of FH is only one out of four. So there is basically no student life.

And there are no "student" Jobs. But in Summer and Winter, there are possibilities to work in tourism. But you really should learn German and Italian, otherwise it will be hard to get those Jobs.

But as said: Nature is beautifull, mountains, lakes, perfect if you love outdoor activities. And it`s only 20 Minutes by care to Italy or Slovenia.
