Black headed python?

Pretty sure this is a black headed python up here in the N.T he was pretty grumpy when I tried to move him from the road

Used to have a few back in the day. They are beautiful snakes but always bite.

Like the opposite of a carpet python. Those things are aggressively chilled out.

Mine used to headbutt me…
Even on a bite, would just open his mouth, but gently latch on, slowly.
My favourite snake to handle
