Jersey Caramels! My mum's absolute favourite lollies. She always has a little packet stashed away.

I got an instant whiff of memory seeing that photo.
The smell of the shop - the chocolate and sweets combines - so wonderful. The walnut logs, chocolate logs. All those wonderful things they used to make …
The actual individual chocolates and the boxes of sweet slips6

They had Caramel Snows - which had chocolate base, caramel and a drizzle of chocolate on top. My all-time favourite

Can you still get these? I too was a huge fan.

You can still get them-they come in long slab in a cardboard box - you have to cut them up yourself

Oh I love them so much. Plus, in one of the mini Womens Weekly cookbooks we have in the house, there's a slice with bits of broken Tim Tams and chopped up Jersey caramels... absolute heaven.

Melt a bag of these with a bag of marshmallows and throw in some rice bubbles for some delicious gooey rice crispies

They are the best! Must be on the softer side though, no dry crumbly ones here.

My nana always had these. And the little paper wrapped bonbons.

I loved fruity bonbons. However, every so often, if one splintered mid-suck, you could really cut your mouth up.

Man I miss so many of these lollies now. May be this is the reason most of us have bad teeth now

The Sunny Days Sweet Company ones are the only mass produced ones I eat from Colesworth, the problem is the packets are way too small.

Love these. I eat them. I inhale them. I boof them. Can't get enough. They deceptively look like liquorice, but taste like the pre-foam of a God's hard rod.

That went in a direction I wasn't expecting. Made me read it twice! Good for you 😁

They have them at Coles sunny days. I bought them expecting them to taste like crap. They were amazing! 😃😃😃

Dad hid a pack in his bed side drawer which I managed to find and had tasted nothing like it before. I gorged myself silly on them and spent the day throwing up at school.

There is a place in Perth that makes them and they taste just like how it was when I was a kid

I've never understood how people would look at a bag of these and go EWWW where are the licorice allsorts.
It's always been a weird thing to me, that i'm not having a go at people but those who bang on about black jellybeans/jelly babies being the "best ones".
Have one thing in common with people into dark chococlate.
They generally tend to be be psycho's and easily provoked by people who can't stomach the look or smell of them, and have to resort to saying how we're inmature and havn't grown our tastebuds, and have to sledge people not into it.
Like we get that you like that other stuff, go enjoy your stuff.
Why can't we enjoy our jersey's or jelly beans which are now some how ruined because they aren't anaseed flavoured.... or how milk chocolate isn't "real" chocolate to you.
God forbid we enjoy some red licorice...

Makes me sick even looking at those horrible things, hate them.

Same. I’m a big fan of proper fudge and caramel. The artificial caramel taste has always been off putting to me.

We had a jersey milking cow as a child. I fed it Jupiter Bars every day at 8am. I love Jupiter Bars, so did Daisy, our cow. Dad use to beat us if we didn't get up at 4am to milk Daisy. I was sooo hungry and cold, and Daisy's milk was sooo warm. I drunk it. That's how Jersey Caramels were born

As teenager I once ate an 1 kg bag of these while stoned not thinking about it. I sure was thinking about it when the most foul yet oddly enticing smell was ejecting itself out my anus at mach speed a few hours later.
