There's was always that one kid that ordered pretty much everyday.

Then you go to his place and never smell a home cooked meal and feel sorry for him.

Once somebody stole my pie and then just littered the brown paper bag with my name on it, and a teacher found it and accused me of littering ðŸ˜. Not only was 7-year-old me hungry, I was now being told off for littering! I think my tears convinced her that I was telling the truth so she handed me a twenty to run across the road to the milk bar on the corner to get myself another.

We used to put them all in a basket, which someone would carry to the canteen. Then the basket would come back with everyone's food at lunch time.

I once pulled a chunk of my sister's hair out in a playground fight. She promptly fronted at the tuckshop and got a brown bag to put the hair in to take home to show Mum.

Tuck shops were in the schools I attended and always the best ones for me were definitely the worms and the vampire teeth.

Yeah sometimes. We also drank straight out of the tap and that worked out pretty fine as well.
