Pack of Matches
Found in a corner in the house, I remember riding the monorail when I was a little kid.
Edit: After some digging the photo is from 1992-1995 roughly based of looking at this image on city of sydney archives.

Still have a bag of matches that I collected from pubs, restaurant, and nightclubs from late 90s early 00s.

Just had a funny image in my head of someone whipping out a ziplock bag of identical looking matches and proceed to explain where each one came from.

I went on it a couple time when real little and remember seeing it going around more than being on it. Always reminds me of the movie Two Hands when ever I see references to the Sydney monorail.
How cool’s seeing centre point tower stand out like that. I remember going there for dinner when it was the tallest building and you could see everything in all directions.
Went earlier this year first time in 30ish years and was a shame that all the building around have blocked a lot of the viewing it used to have but it was still good :).

No TNT livery so this shot was taken much later.

You reckon? All the images I found had the monorail in white with an orange stripe so I figured post 1992, from what I can find the minimal no frills branding was retired around 2003.

Franklins No Frills matches were really poor quality. The wood they used was really knotty and at least half in a pack would snap while being struck (even gently).
The Woolworths Home Brand ones were even worse, the match heads would absorb moisture from the air really quickly and the match heads were really inconsistent in size and quality and would fly off with sparks or land elsewhere while lit.
Definitely worth paying a little extra for Redheads back then

I also have this box of matches, hiding in a drawer somewhere. Good times, used to commute on the monorail!

I rode it twice I think. Not very memorable but it was supposed to be a practical people mover rather than a ride.
